Using Rascal
How does Rascal work?
Rascal is a concentrated enzyme tablet. Drop it in tap water, let it fizz, and you have a pro-strength spray. The enzymes help break down the organic matter in pet messes that causes stains and odor, instead of covering it up with fragrance.
How many tablets do I use?
1 tablet per 16 oz of tap water. For a 32 oz spray bottle, use 2 tablets.
What messes does it work on?
Dog and cat urine (fresh and old), poop, vomit, hairballs, lingering pet odor and old, set-in stains.
What surfaces can I use it on?
Carpet, rugs, couches and upholstery, pet beds, mattresses and around litter areas. Always spot test on a hidden area first.
Does it work on old stains?
Yes. Old or deep stains may need more than one treatment. Soak the spot so the spray reaches as deep as the mess did, let it sit, blot, and repeat once it's dry if you still see or smell it. A UV blacklight helps you find old spots you can't see.
Is it safe around pets and kids?
Rascal is made without bleach or ammonia and is safe around pets and kids. Keep pets off treated areas until they're dry, and store tablets sealed in the pouch, out of reach of children and pets. Tablets are not for eating.
How long does a pouch last?
Each pouch has 6 tablets and makes 96 oz of spray. That's a full month for most homes.
Do I need a special spray bottle?
No. Any clean spray bottle works: use 1 tablet per 16 oz. Our 5-month supply includes a free 16 oz spray bottle and UV blacklight.
How should I store the tablets?
Keep them sealed in the pouch in a cool, dry place. Moisture can make tablets fizz early, so close the pouch after each use.

Shipping is a flat $4.95 within the United States.
How long does shipping take?
Orders usually ship within 1–2 business days, and USPS delivery typically takes 2–5 business days after that. You'll get an email when your order ships.

What is your guarantee?
Every order comes with our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not happy with Rascal for any reason, email us at hello@rascalpetcompany.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, and we'll refund the purchase price. No need to send anything back. Shipping charges aren't refundable, and the guarantee is limited to one refund per customer or household. See our Refund Policy for details.
What if my order arrives damaged or never arrives?
Email us within 30 days of the expected delivery date (with a photo if it's damaged or incorrect) and we'll send a free replacement or a full refund, including shipping.
Is this a subscription?
No. Your order is a one-time purchase, and you won't be charged again unless you place another order.
